| Tyro features fiddler and Nairn native Rua Macmillan in a recording made for Greentrax which was part of his prize for winning the “Up and Coming Artist of the Year” award 2009. This collection shows beyond a doubt that he is a worthy winner, and anything but a tyro – except, I suppose, in recording circles – as the tunes, many of which are his own compositions, demonstrate.
