| Lost In The Day - Ewan Wilkinson |
| Edinburgh-based singer and guitarist Ewan Wilkinson declares himself Lost In The Day. Originally from Peebles, Ewan has toured extensively with box guru Sandy Brechin, who plays on this album as well as offering backing vocals. The ensemble is completed by no less than Wendy Weatherby on cello, Alison Smith and Ronan Martin on fiddle and John Currie on the Low D whistle.
Tracks vary from Trad and Burns to the self-penned, including the title track, which describes a winter’s day in licensed premises, thus presumably explaining the getting-lost aspect. Been there, done that . . . |
