| From Thrumster in Caithness come the Harvey Brothers, Andrew and Craig, with their debut album Tartan Paint, offering a dozen tracks of what appears to be trad piping, but turns out to be something slightly different – check out “Highland Cathedral” and climb aboard the “Hell Bound Train”, for example – and you’ll see what I mean.
The brothers are well supported here by Grant Lyall on drums, Phil Anderson on enough instruments to start his own orchestra, and Erik Laughton on bodhran. |
