We have a wonderful book of photography for our prize draw this month. Its title is "Wanderings With A Camera In Scotland" and it contains photographs from the collection of Erskine Beveridge who was a Dunfermline textile merchant in the late 19th and early 20th century. The book features more than 170 evocative black-and-white images taken around Scotland, capturing our rural past, with intriguing insights into small communities. From pictures of black houses in the Western Isles to street scenes in Fife fishing villages, the photos capture the atmosphere of a bygone era.
