Dinosaur Zoo!

Watch as dinosaurs are brought to life in an interactive and imaginative live show. The audience can eve meet the dinosaurs after the show, so its the perfect family outing for kids big and small. At Edinburgh Festival Theatre Saturday and Sunday, September 19 and 20.

The Big Beach Clean

The annual Great British Beach Clean is this weekend (September, 18 – 21) with events right across the country. Take pride in our beautiful coastline by helping to look after it for just an hour or two, then admiring your handiwork with an ice cream! The different beaches taking part can all be found here.

Doors Open Dundee

As part of Scotland’s Doors Open Days throughout September, over 50 historic buildings in Dundee will be open to the public on September 19 and 20. Don’t miss the chance to climb the Old Steeple in the city centre for great views and forgotten Dundee architecture.

Palace Chilli Fest

Thing’s are hotting up at Scone Palace for their Scottish Food & Drink Festival! Over Saturday, September 19 and Sunday, 20, some of the country’s finest food producers and artisans will tempt visitors with tasty creations and live cookery demonstrations – including the now-famous Chilli Eating Competition!

Octonauts!

An Octonaut-themed training academy for pre-schoolers is running at Loch Lomond Sea Life Acquarium until September 29 with hands-on activities in the rockpool area. Kids can even meet the TV characters before recieving a very special Octonauts certificate.

Eastern Promise

The 5th annual Eastern Promise brings eclectic, essential live music to Platform Glasgow. Aidan Moffat, of Arab Strap fame headlines the opening night with Bill Wells on Friday, September 18, with more great music on Saturday. Tickets are £10 for one night, or £15 for two.
