Top Honour for Laurie Campbell

Scotland’s best known nature photographer has won the RSPB Lifetime Achievement Award.

Laurie Campbell, whose 40-year career has spanned 23 awards including the BBC Wildlife’s Photography of the Year Competition, is also regularly featured on the pages of The Scots Magazine.

The Nature of Scotland Awards is a prestigious ceremony designed to celebrate outstanding achievement in Scottish nature conversation. Finalists across eight categories attended the Awards presentation at Sheraton Grand Hotel in Edinburgh. The event was hosted by naturalist, author and TV presenter Chris Packham.

Previous winners include Professor Aubrey Manning OBE, a leading authority on animal behaviour, and broadcaster of BBC2’s Earth Story and Talking Landscapes.
