Scottish landscape photographer Allan Wright has launched a s
tunning new photography book of Skye

 

Skye, A Photographic Communion, captures the nature and topography of the island in more than 100 images, from majestic landscapes of Trotternish and The Cuillins, to the magical Fairy Pools and the endless captivating shorelines.

The book also includes narrative about each of the main regions of the island, highlighting famous landmarks such as the Talisker distillery and Dunvegan Castle, while focusing on the vital role the Caledonian MacBrayne ferry plays for tourism and island life.

An exhibition of the photographs from Allan’s book is on display at the Aros Centre in Portree until Thursday, April 20.
