Tickets are now on sale for Scotland’s Daffodil Festival. The festival takes place every year from April 11-12, 10am -4.30pm, at Backhouse Rossie Estate near Auchtermuchty in Fife. This is a fantastic opportunity to see the national collection of daffodils, growing alongside other spring flowers in the historic estate grounds with views to the Lomond Hills.

The festival line-up included in your ticket price offers an opportunity to explore the beautifully restored walled gardens and grounds, hear some of the Royal Horticulture Society Expert Talks, take part in garden tours and a championship putting competition with a 2020 trophy award.

Included in your ticket price is The Royal Horticulture Society Expert Talks, Garden Tours and Championship 9 Hole Putting Competition for 2020 Trophy.

Enjoy the Festival Café, local stalls, plant sales, vintage fair, and Heritage Centre display. All alongside a woodland walk fringed with daffodils to a historic Covenanter’s Tomb, an infants bear walk, and there is even a woodland chocolate egg hunt!

See some of the first daffodil cultivars ever created in the UK by the family’s ancestors as well as thousands of different historic, modern and scented daffodils. Auricula, hyacinths, tulips and other spring flowers adorn the walled garden which contains themes of Art and Science.

This year’s charities are Marie Curie and the Backhouse Heritage and Education Centre.

Standard ticket price is £5.50 (adult) but other prices are available.
