Scottish Gin Awards

Scottish gin has taken the world by storm, and the Scottish Gin Awards dinner, on Thursday, September 14, promises to be the biggest ever celebration of the new favourite tipple. Expect samples, celebrity hosts and musical entertainment.divider

Beith Carves

On Saturday, September 9, head down to Beith Carves to witness six internationally-acclaimed chainsaw carvers produce beautiful wooden carvings in front of your eyes. On top of that, they’ll have craft and food stalls, a barbecue and ceilidh dancing!divider

Orkney Science Fest

The Orkney International Science Festival is on this weekend with the theme of the Sounds of the Sea. Explore ancient Norse navigation, tidal power in Ushant and much more with interactive exhibitions and workshops.


Highland Tattoo!

If you missed the Edinburgh Military Tattoo, then don’t fret – the Highland Military Tattoo is just beginning! Head up to Fort George, Inverness, on September 8 – 10, for performances, pipes and drums, fireworks and fly-pasts.
